We are part of DTU Skylab, and since 2018, we have supported the development of solutions that will be able to improve the problems of the future and make a difference for the many.

Access to technological infrastructure

DTU Link is a 400 m2 open innovation environment where spinouts, startups and tech-oriented companies can establish a workplace with access to cafeteria, meeting facilities and social and academic networking activities. We are adjacent to unique research facilities, a professional machine workshop and a small prototype workshop with the option of prototyping and starting up series-0 production.

Access to technology collaboration

DTU Link is Region Zealand's gateway to the university's researchers, students, and the ecosystem for innovation. The last four years, we have facilitated and financed more than 100 innovation collaborations between SME’s and researchers and technicians at the university.

Support and maturation of technological startups

DTU Link helps startups mature in the first years. Our business developers offer sparring on development, testing and validation of technological solutions, and can support companies in the market maturity, scaling and further development of products. We work with advisors, technicians, and researchers as well as the national clusters and business hubs.

DTU Link offers desk space in a newly renovated, open-plan office on fixed and flexible lease terms with access to a prototype workshop, a professional mechanical workshop, and academic and social networking events.

At DTU Link, you will find yourself living next door to the research facilities at DTU Risø Campus, dedicated to areas such as light, smart grid, solar cells, and wind energy. If you already have or are planning a research collaboration with DTU, the incubator is the obvious choice for you.

At DTU Risø Campus, you will find a professional mechanical workshop with a dedicated team of research technicians and blacksmiths who manufacture and develop high quality advanced equipment for research projects or commercial use, such as prototypes and 0-series. The workshop is located a stone's throw from DTU Link and has everything from 3D printers to traditional machine tools.

The workshop offers the opportunity to work with wood, metal, plastic, and electronics as the equipment includes 2D / 3D CNC machines, a 3D coordinate measuring machine, traditional machine tools and several specialized machines, including welding equipment. The workshop's competent team is always ready to help with projects or prototypes.

DTU Link has also established a prototype workshop, with 3D printers and laser cutters, which can be used free of charge by tenants.
